Oct. 16, 2023; At 5:00 pm; At Walt Disney Animation Studio

The day was already near its end at the studio in Burbank. The animators were cleaning their desktops, the storyboard artists were organizing their art pieces and everyone was already heading out to the front lobby. There were some people at the screening room watching one of the classic cartoon shorts of Mickey Mouse, "Mickey's Birthday Party". One of there was Renika with her friends. They see as the short film ends with the party being a blast. The gang were having a fun time celebrating Mickey's Birthday and Goofy was struggling to make the perfect cake for the birthday boy. Instead, he had to buy the birthday cake and Minnie had to check up one more time to see if he make the cake. She was overjoyed to see it was beautiful. She had to make sure they surprised Mickey, telling him to close his eyes.

"Close you eyes! Don't peek, I've got a surprise." She pressed the keys on the piano organ and it turned off the lights. Goofy kicks the door open and jumps out with the cake in hand. "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you!!" He's about to make that big step, looking presentable, until the door from behind him smacks his back, making him lose grip of the cake that flies in mid-air. "Happy birthday, Dear Mickey!"

Right when the song was near the end, Mickey had his eyes covered still and was hit by the birthday cake and fell on his bottom with cake pieces on him and some candles on his head and hands. He looked at himself and smiles with joy on his face and looks at his friends with an "Oh well" expression. To him, it was a best birthday ever. "Happy birthday to you!!" The short ended with the people laughing and smiling at the scene and clapped their hands.

They started to get up and started to walking out of the studio going through the lobby. 2 girls were saying their farewell for the day. "Bye, Renika, have a Good Anniversary!!" "Thanks, you too." Renika was walking alone and an elderly gentleman was now next to her, walking side-by-side as they were near the exit. "Hi Burny, you doing okay?" She asked. He smiled at her question, feeling happy she asked him. "Oh I'm fine, Renika. Thank you, how was your day? Did you like the show?"

Renika smiles when he said that and started to think about it. "I loved it, the traditional animated movement, how clear the animation was on the screen and how the audio is also clear compared to the difference of the voice acting from long ago. Everything was beautiful."

He smiled at her enthusiasm and how it reminded him of a special someone he knew from before. They were finally at the double doors of the studio and Renika was so excited to go out and celebrate with her friends from her internship. "It's so incredible to think that Walt started Disney Animation 100 years ago. To think of all those talented artists and wonderful characters who have been a part of the studio over the years." They were the last ones at the door and they turned around to take one more look at it. " You know, I still do wish to know how Walt would feel, knowing we came so far. I wonder, though." He smiles and says his lasts words. "If these walls could talk." Burny says with reminiscing eyes. He and Renika smile at each other and start to walk out together, closing the door behind them.

What they don't know is that these walls can talk and they're about to celebrate!

Chapter Text

After Renika and Burny left the building, there was silence that roamed the building everywhere. Not a sound to make from anywhere, but just as the sun was shining inside the lobby, some movement was made by a little black mouse in a blue shirt with yellow button-ups, red pants, yellow hat with a red ribbon around it, and white shoes with a hint of red as well.

Coincidence, I think not and the photo was none other than Mickey Mouse himself, and his beloved Minnie Mouse. He looks out from the picture frame and searches from his point of view for any humans around. He could barely see anything from afar, so he whispered for help from nearby.

"Psst! Tink! Tink! Tinker Bell! You there?" He whispers out to the distance and from the end of a hallway, stood a picture of Tinker Bell in a frame that shows her looking at herself at a hand mirror under her.

As she hears Mickey's voice, she moves and flies out to look around the studio from top to bottom, passing by her many wonderful friends in many places, even pictures of her fairy friends from Pixie Hollow, who have also woken up to assist her in making rounds: Rosetta, Silvermist, Iridessa, Fawn, and Vidia.

As she make her final rounds in the building, she stumbles upon a door to a room labeled "Recording Room", where she had to use her weight to push down the door nob to get in. Her friends helped out and flew in. They made sure that no one else was in here and with that being done, Tinker Bell made her way to the front lobby to meet with Mickey and her friends stayed to do something very magical.

Tink flew and flew until finally finding Mickey, who was more than happy to see her. "Is that it? They all gone?" She nodded with a smile on her face. Mickey shouted with glee, "OH BOY!" while he jumps out the Filmography Photo and lands on his feet. He turns to Minnie, and calls out to her. "Come on, Minnie!" She wakes up and jumps out, landing next to him, gripping each others hand with excitement. "This is it!" Minnie nods."Oooh, I'm so excited for tonight, Mickey, I can't wait!" Mickey laughs. He looks at his watch and sees it about approximately 5 in the evening. "We don't have anytime to waste, Minnie! Let's begin!" 'You're right! Let's get the gang!"

She uses her left hand to call out to everyone from all corners of the studio. "YOO-HOOOOOOOOOOO!!" When she make that sound, everyone knew that was the signal to get moving and fast.

Tiana was in her blue gown, gloves, necklace and tiara and was quick to hear the voice of hers. She gasps, "There's the signal" and moves quick to leave and jump to land in her heels, and to fix her dress. "All right, y'all! It's picture time!" She claps her hands to get their attention. Pinocchio then popped his head out to ask. "That's tonight?" he exclaimed. "That's now!" said Tiana. "And like Mickey said, we gotta be quick to get everyone down stairs and ready for that photograph." "That's right!"

They both turn to see a photo of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in conversation, when Judy turns to then with her head out. "The 100-year group photo." She starts to jump with Nick rolling his eyes in disbelief, following her to land on their feet, standing next to each other. "And the sun's going down. Come on! Let's hop to it!" "Oooh, a bunny bun. Gotta love that."

He chuckles at Judy with her looking at him with a smile. Then a sound of trumpet came out from behind Nick and as they turned around, they saw Louis the Alligator come out and nearly crashed onto Nick. Luckily, Nick ran against the wall and dodged him.

Louis pulls out his instrument from his mouth and talks to Nick. "Oh man, sorry about that little buddy. You alright?" Louis gets up first and checks up on Nick, who's still against the wall and looks at Louis in a way that he's glad to not get crushed. "I didn't mean for that to happen."

Nick calms down and dusts himself off of the dirt on him. "Nah, big man, you're good. It just caught me off guard, its all." Nick says to Louis. Louis takes his word for it, only making sure he didn't scare him. Until he hears music being played from the distance, recognizing that it's Naveen coming out of the photo of him with his instrument, he starts to get into the groove to play. "That's good to hear, Nick. Let's get going and Celebrate! Hahaha! Finally out and about! Let's party!" Shouted Louis, as he gets up and starts to walk up the hallway while playing his trumpet player.

Nick sighs in relief when Louis left and the others checked if he was okay, he replies he's fine. Nick was sure not to worry his friends about what happened, but if he was honest, he'd say that he felt anxious. Not of Louis, but of the celebration. Either way, he had to be calm until after the photo was taken. For the sake of his friends. They then proceed to walk down the hallway with other people coming out. They started to smile at the wonders unfolding before them.

Ariel and Eric come out of a picture where they are dancing in the town square and started to walk around. Geppetto comes out to where he was working on the toys with Figaro and Cleo in a fish bowl. He notices Pinocchio and picks him out with glee. "Oh my boy, Pinocchio! I'm so glad you went through fine!" "Yes, Papa! I'm fine." They embrace each other and walk together with him greeting the pets. "Hi Figaro, Hi Cleo!" They also greet in return and continued with the others down the hallway. They see more of their friends coming out and are saying their 'Hi's and 'Hello's.

They turn to watch as Mickey starts to run from the lobby to some places to let out the call. "This way! It's picture time, guys!" He passed by the portraits of Bambi, Thumper and Flower. They hear the call and jump out with excitement like everyone else. "Here we come!" says Thumper.

They run across the hallway to another picture to where the Rescuers, Bernard and Bianca are flying across the sky with the Albatross Flyer, Orville taking them to Devil's Bayou. Thumper hits the floor repeatedly, calling them out. "Wake up, Orville, Wake up!" Orville hears them and flies out with the others dodging him. Minnie walks in with Bolt, Mittens and Rhino walking with her and seeing Orville crash across the floor. Orville shouts to assure the others. "We're okay!" "You must be careful, dear. We don't want you to get hurt before the photo too soon. Are you alright?" Orville gets up and reaches over his back to get Bianca and Bernard off his back and into the floor safely. "Nothing like a crash can hurt this soldier of the sky, ma'am."

Rhino interrupts as he rolls over in his hamster ball. "That was awesome!" Minnie and the others smile at his enthusiasm. Peter flies by them with his Rooster call and Minnie call out to him. "Oh Peter!" Peter hears her and flies back, "Yes, Minnie?" he asks. "Get the folks upstairs!" Peter salutes. "Aye, aye, captain! Come on, everybody. Here we go!"

Peter then flies put onto the front lobby with a few familiar children following along. He turns to see Wendy Darling, John Darling and Michael Darling flying along side him like they were in the picture them left from. Peter flew next to the stairway and does a twirl about at the bottom stair handles and as he stops and turns to the others, he points up to show them where to fly next to.

Wendy takes the lead and Peter follows in front and as he's about to bend forward down to the second floor, he lets out a big crow sound and flies in. Wendy, John and Michael follow his lead and Michael goes in last with his teddy bear in arm.

After they fly in, Sisu comes out of one of the hallways with laughter in her heart as she runs around and climbs up and down the walls in a big twirl, with Jim Hawkins flying on his hoverboard, the Alponian Solar Cruiser, behind her. He flies to the next room, where it shows Maui, the demi-god, jumping out of the picture and he exclaims, "It's Maui Time!" He uses hid Magic Fishhook to transform into his big hawk form and flies out into a lounge, shouting to someone nearby.

"We're meeting at the lobby!" He goes by a flight of stairs, with Aladdin and Abu on his shoulder, sliding down the handlebars and he replies back, "Alright!", He grunts as he jumps off the handles. "See you there!" As he's about to land, he starts to struggle with his balance as he lands with the trolls from Arendelle, whom are rolling to another room.

Following behind the trolls, Vanellope Von Schweetz came in with her Sugar Rush racecar with Dodger wearing glasses and with sausages around his neck, driving to the other room. "WOAAAHH!" Elliot the dragon taking Cody from Rescuers: Down Under on a ride around the studio. "WOAH, HIGHER!" He says with laughter as well. Lanny and Wayne glide down to the floor under them from where the action is happening and Ocean helps Moana come out from the picture she was in.

Moana seems surprised to be out and smiles as she looks at her surroundings. She looks out to say thanks, "Thanks, Ocean! I'll be back as soon as I can!" Ocean nods as a sign of affirmation. A voice calls out and it's Maui still in his Eagle Form, landing next to her. "Hey Moana! You made it, I'm glad you're safe. You just got here?" Moana was about to reply, "Well, I-", but Flounder then landed in her hands after Ocean put him there from his picture frame. "Flounder?!" Moana exclaimed. "Water!"

Moana and Maui start to panic and Moana starts to dash to look for water nearby. Maui follows after and they see Merlin using his magic to make tea with Mrs. Potts, Chip, An animated sugar bowl, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and Lucille Krunklehorn in the coffee area that's a version of the Snuggly Duckling. Cogsworth accompanied with them to hurry them for the anniversary photo. "No, no, no, There's no time for tea!" He ways his arms around to make a point. He jumps off the counter to get closer to the others. Mrs. Potts floats with chip to share some tea with the others. "Oh hush now, Cogsworth. We still have enough time to drink tea. Take a seat with us." She says to him while pouring some tea in Chip.

Moana comes into the conversation and intervenes. "Merlin, A little help, please? It's Flounder!! He needs water!!" Merlin becomes surprised to see this and acts quick to make a magic spell to help. "Oh! Uh.. uh.. mhh-mmh! I'll be about to help Flounder right away. Chapeaulius Bowlius!" He waves his wand in the air to make the magic happen and as he begins, the magic starts to go towards the Mad Hatter's hat to turn it upside down, letting Hatter notice and catching his hat in the process as water goes in. Moana rushes with Flounder in hand and puts him in there, giving Flounder relief. Maui becomes relieved as well and walks next to Moana to check on him. "You okay, little buddy?" Flounder was swimming around to be comfy and responds, "I'm fine now. Thanks, Moana and Maui." Hatter and March Hare quickly move to make way for a penguin waiter to pass by. "Oh waiter, there's a carp in my cap!"

After saying that, everyone laughs at his remark. "I'm so glad that things are good for now, but I must hurry with the other magical leaders. We must do one last thing for one last person." Merlin says as he puts down Mrs. Potts and Chip. "Let's hurry now, Bowl. We mustn't diddy dally!" Bowl hears him and rushes to go in Merlin's pocket, then Merlin quickly leaves from behind the counter to make his way towards a hallway. After he leaves, Moana feels something on her ankle and looks down to see Pua getting her attention. "Pua! You're alright! I'm so glad that you're okay!" She picks him up and snuggles him with love, and Maui rubs his head to comfort his, too. "Good to see ya, buddy!"

They hear a crowing sound, followed by a thud sound that came from behind. They turn around to see Hai Hai having to been fallen flat on his side, possibly by Ocean, dragging him out of his screaming picture and still intact. "The chicken lives! Hehe!"

Judy walks side by side with the other characters and starts to notice that Nick hasn't said anything much since they came in. She glances at him and notices that his seems "Aren't you excited, Nick? Not everyday we get to go out into the Real World and we're finally doing it for the anniversary." "That's right, Judy." They turn to see Pinocchio reply while still being carried by Geppetto. "And I get to do this with father. We haven't been out in a long time." "I'm as fit as a fiddle and happy as a youngun to be out with my son and family." Geppetto says with prowess in his voice. "And we haven't been out since 2009 and I sure hope to see what's become of today's world."

Tiana says with Louis behind her, walking while polishing his trumpet. Nick started to feel nervous as he knows he has to say something, so he still replies. "This is all so swell." Louis exclaims. "Well, yeah. I guess you're not wrong? I don't know, it's all just started to get boring to me already." He nailed it. "What, but we just got here. You can't be bored already!" Judy says. "We got so much to see around this studio. We can check in the food court, we can watch TV in the screening room, and we can watch the sunset as we celebrate tonight." Judy points out all the fun activities, with her fingers.

Nick starts to smile at Judy. He really likes it when he sees her excited about this. The last time he saw her excited was about a couple of hours ago before they came to the other side of the photos, though he really couldn't say excited. She did seemed to have been anxious earlier. Where did that feeling go for her? He started to smirk and replies, "Says the one that was running back and forth like a neat freak earlier before coming out, worrying a lot." Judy paused and turns to him with her face red from embarrassment, going up to his face shouting, "W-w-what? Was not! I was as cool and calm as a cucumber. Got it?!"

She shrubs that statement away and starts to walk from him, with her face still red and upset, with the others standing next to Nick still, who's face was holding in laughter from her reaction. "Ha! yeah right." Louis speaks first, "Uh, Nick?" "Hmm?" "What did you mean when you said you were worried of Judy?" "Oh yeah, about that ......"

An hour before staff left; at 4:00 p.m.

At the ZPD Front Lobby, all the police officers we're helping to prepare and gathering the decorations. They knew that not all of them will be going to the other side, but that they will still celebrate in their honor as being the supportive characters that helped become part of the film. Clawhauser was getting to clean all around his counter for the last time before leaving and his friends were next to him with happy faces. "Aren't you excited, buddy?" "I'm so jealous of you!" "Aren't you about to go yet?" "You need to get there quick!" As he was about to wipe that donut crumb off the counter, he started to feel annoyed by how they still were asking him.

He understood where this was coming from, but it started to get more annoying by the minute. As he was to say something, he heard Nick come between them. "Hey, hey, buddies! I know you're excited and all, but can't you see he's still cleaning. Give him respect, You guys got to still prep as well." He gave them such a chill and calming tone as they took in what he told them. They started to leave and apologized to Clawhauser. "Sorry, bro." "We'll see ya after you get back." Be safe!" "I really wish I could go, too." They left as how they came quick, in a rush. Nick turned to Clawhauser, who had sighed in relief as the crowd of officers finally left. "Thanks Nick, it was getting so overwhelming seeing them around me. I'm already getting exhausted by this." Nick walked up to him and sat in his front desk chair. "I'm tell you buddy, the moment we get there, we'll have all the time to have fun to not even worry about this." "That sounds all so incredible, Nick!" As they spoke, they hear someone shouting, or at least two voices shouting.

"Get to work faster, Everyone! You better be working on preparations for the anniversary party, on the double!" They turn to see Chief Bogo walking around the station, keeping an eye on who's slacking off. They watched as they see Judy walking behind him, making sure to double check with him. "Remember, we must have those decorations finished before we leave to the other side. Got it?" Chief then turns around to her direction. "Officer Hopps, I have told you before that I am the one giving orders, not you." "Yes sir, but I wa-" "Hopps, you and our selections of characters are to go home for the day as we get everything done and are to get in position. That is an order." He said in a deep tone as he glares down at her.

She wanted to speak back, but sighs in denial. "Fine, I'll go." He turns to walk away and Judy starts to walk out the door. Nick and Clawhauser were surprised to see Judy helping out, causing Nick to snicker and Clawhauser confused. "Isn't Judy supposed to be at her house, getting ready?" "Yeah, well, seems like Peter Cottontail didn't follow her own rule about that." They turn back to see Judy was no longer there and thought she had left. "Well, she's gone. Might as well get into place while we're here." Oh shoot, I still got to get my stuff." "Yeah, we'll see you there!" Nick starts to walk away, until he hears something behind him. He turns and gets upset. "Oh, you got to be kidding me." He sees Judy up onto a very tall ladder as she starts to mess with the banner that said, "Happy 100th" and Chief having to tell her off. "Officer Hopps! I've told you before and I will tell you again, you are not permitted to be part of the party committee. You are to be prepared on getting in position for when we leave. Am I clear?" As he spoke to her, Judy became hyper focused on the banner, that she didn't hear all that he said to her. "Officer Hopps, am I making myself clear or not?!"

Nick goes that was as he intervenes. "Judy! You're supposed to be home, getting ready!" "And you're supposed to be home as well!" "I might have to agree with her for once, Officer Wilde. Why are you still here?" Chief looks down at him as he starts to sweats. "How about we focus on the one that needs to get down from there?" "I'm fine, and I wanted to help out before getting ready. Now if you excuse me, Nick." She shoved him to the side and walks pass him, getting annoyed by them. Nick watched as she walked away and had to see Chief Bogo walk with her to see reason on her leaving to prepare.

After he finished his story, he then said, "Then she started to yell at me. I was really surprised and had to find time to speak to her." The others were quiet and shocked that they had an argument. They were one of the best duos of Zootopia and........ well, this wasn't the first time they'd argue, so they shouldn't be surprised, but still.

During that discussion with Nick, with the fairies of Pixie Hollow, they were making a circle in the front lobby with other characters gathering around and were the closest to the lobby door. The fairies were gathering around in a spiraling and circles, dropping about little bits of twigs and flowers of all sorts and some snowflakes, too. The other characters added special materials that they found were filled with magical meaning and had to then step back from the circle to wait for the other beings to come in so they may proceed with the ritual.

They had decided to watch what they were doing, wondering if this will work and that “She” may come out. The Fairies then made way for the ruler, Queen Clarion, who had been able to stand in the middle of the circle, waiting for the other magic characters to arrive. When all had came to an end with the gathering of materials, the leaders had arrived, none other than Merlin the Wizard, Fairy Godmother, the Blue Fairy, Zeus the God of Thunder, the Enchantress and Triton came in and Triton had come in with a whirlpool guiding him into the room. The mops from Fantasia then followed behind him, cleaning up the extra white water on the ground in his trail.

Then shining from the roof ceiling of the of the front lobby, then coming out of a special picture were the three good fairies of the kingdom of which Aurora was born. The three fairies known as Flora, Fauna and Merriweather. Finally, when all people had gathered, the last and second most powerful being of Disney had arrived while everyone was waiting for him, the powerful wizard, Yensid.
