Sev went on examining his rifle. The other commando would have to bite first. By all rights, a fellow spec ops squad shouldn’t put him on edge; they were vode, if only by the loosest definition of the word. But there was something about them that made him bristle.
“Sniper?”
Sev grunted in affirmation. Idle small talk grated on him most days.
“The Deece’s not a bad shot,” the commando went on, “but I found a suitable substitute.” He sat down beside Sev. “Crosshair.”
“Sev.”
After the events of Triple Zero , Delta Squad is tasked with disabling droid factories in the Mid Rim. When they learn that General Zey has sent reinforcements their way, they aren't exactly thrilled. And when those reinforcements turn out to be none other than Clone Force 99?
