Work Text:
Dandelions seeds are carried by the breeze
As my eager hands grasp the fragrant wine
That laid beneath the earth for centuries,
Awaiting the reunion of the divine.
And, oh! How perfectly divine you looked,
Rolling your eyes as you accepted my gift
Oh-so-reverently, your smile obscured
By your hand and the Glaze lilies you gripped.
‘Til the sun ebb to the west did we drink
Sharing stories ‘til the moon reached its peak;
Lost time long forgotten in an eyeblink.
My head atop your chest, hearing your heartbeat,
I think to myself as I hold you so near
Perhaps I’ll love you another thousand years.
