Summary

“Can I show you something?” Will asks, suddenly.
“Anything!” Mike responds.
“Okay, just trust me. We have to go.”
As they stand, Mike asks, “where are we going?”
“My place.” Will says as he settles his jacket over his arms.
Mike’s hand stills as he reaches for his jacket, his eyes snapping up to meet Will’s. Will’s eyes soften while holding his gaze, before gently nodding in encouragement. Mike’s lips part into a gentle smile before grabbing his jacket and standing fully to follow Will out of the diner.

15 years after graduating High School, Mike and Will spend a week together in Philly while Mike is on a book tour. Full of flashbacks to their times together over the last 15 years - a first kiss, slow dances, missed opportunities, and distance. And new adventures together - an art show, D&D night, and a trip to the movies. They spend the week slowly realizing they are hopelessly in love.

Summary
I write poetry on occasion. I find it pretty fun. Is it good? Probably not, but I like it.
There is no broader story to the poems, I just add poems when I feel like it. Don't like one? Maybe the next is to your liking. The majority of the poems are Free Verse, but I also write sonnets as well as the occasional Limerick and Haiku. I recommend viewing this work through the “entire work” option.
I don't know how this would be rated, but warnings for violence and self-violence definitely and sexual activity. Read at your own discretion.

I wrote this sonnet because I read Sheenagh Pugh's poem 《five voices》 in January, a very exquisite design of narrative that these five parts are arranged in the chronological order of events, from Joachim Quantz to Theodor Fontane. But all five of them deliberately forgot why Katte escaped from Prussia and, why he finally didn't, as if they really believed he indeed intended to commit treason, and they even found other excuses for him. The other main character has been hidden in their narrative, but we know the answer.
So I think it maybe a good idea to add the sixth voice. I also read Emily Dickinson's 《My Wars are laid away in Books》, I like the image, one of the most successful concepts in German art: der Tod, the death. I chose Menzel's 《Concert for flute with Frederick the Great in Sanssouci》 as the stage. So, what I want to describe is: der Tod took on Katte's appearance and broke into the concert in Sanssouci. "You" = der Tod.
But I have no idea of iambic meter, just wrote a tiny sonnet in Chinese, it's a pity.

Lu Guang had not cracked the code, unable to figure out why some deaths were predestined while others were not. It haunted him. If it wasn’t insomnia keeping him awake most nights, it was guilt, or constant analysis of event progression and variables in hopes that somehow, someday, he can change the ultimate outcome. Alas, he continues to fail, with a faint flickering hope that someday, it might go better. Sometimes, things progressed even worse than ever before. It would begin again, but not quite anew.
