Russell meets a nice man at the zoo and murders him, not because of envy or a debt to pay back, but a secret third thing (a wish for something better that, in the face of survival that hinges on your apathy, poses a threat to your life). You aren't afraid of death if you have nothing to live for, and fearing death is a very dangerous thing for somebody like Russell.
A retelling of Tabasa's murder that focuses on Russell's motivations and thought process, because they make me sad.
