Summary
Based off a DND 5E real-play with a solo player and an DM in the homebrew world of Amaranthe.
After learning a terrible secret about herself, a young half-elf called Lorna must flee her home through not so legal means to escape the insidious plans of her father. At the behest of her new benefactor, Lorna enrolls in the Mariguard Academy, an institute designed to train up mercenaries who operate outside the boundaries of law and nation. A pampered noble barely out of her girlhood, Lorna couldn't be any more out of her element. But that's fine. Lorna will face the brutal and uncertain life of a mercenary if she can keep her independence and her identity. However, as Lorna learns more about the dubious circumstances of her birth and loss of her mother, her sense of identity begins to blur. Who really is she?
