“So you're a princess..?” You asked your wife, tilting your head to the side as you stared at her.
She crossed her arms to her chest before looking away from you. “That's what I was.”
Welp, that doesn't answer much of what you wanted to know.
“What made you ditch that royal life for something so... ordinary?” You prodded after several seconds had passed between you two.
Azula sighed before finally deciding to look back at you.
“Power didn't bring me happiness.” She told you softly.
“But this, with you, does.” She slowly reached to grab both of your hands into hers.
You chuckled a bit before smiling at her.
“While I would usually love telling you how cheesy that was just now, I am far too joyed in this moment to care.”
You squeezed both of her hands before kissing them gently.
“You are unbearable.” Azula told you.
When you pulled away, she was smiling at you.
“Says the one who married me.” You teased before placing a kiss on her lips.
