Chapter Text

She loved this. Everything about this was amazing. Their legs intertwined underneath the covers, his giant arms wrapped around her torso, the soft rising and lowering of his chest against her face as he breathed, the soft hum of the ceiling fan above them, it was all so perfect.

And to add on top of all of that...it was raining outside. The soft pitter patter of the rain hitting the window only added to her comfiness. She had woken up a few minutes ago and she had barely moved, and to be honest she didn't really want to. It was Saturday so they didn't have anything that needed to be done but she hadn't checked the time and with how cloudy it was out, she couldn't tell if it was 2pm or 2am. Rolling over she decided to check her phone that was charging on the stand next to his bed.

"8:30 huh?" She whispered to herself. "Probably would've been up by now any other day but I'm just not feeling it right now. Might as well sleep in."

And with a yawn she rolled back over and huddled close to him before quietly drifting off into sleep.

It was 11:47 and it was Izuku's 2nd time waking up that morning. He had actually woken up about 15 minutes before kyoka and had gone through a nearly identical process of feeling to need to get out of bed, checking his phone for the day and time and deciding it was better to just lie back down. Having decided that he got enough extra sleep, Izuku slowly got up out of bed, being very careful to avoid waking her up. As he stood up fully, he looked down at Kyoka and saw that she was visibly bothered by the sudden loss of warmth.

To make up for this, he took his much-too-big-for-her-blanket and wrapped it around her as tightly as he could without making it uncomfortable for her. Now,  rather than covering his whole bed, the blanket was now wrapped around it's sole purple haired  inhabitant with just her head poking out of the top. It was something his mom had done for him when he was a kid and he remembered it quite fondly. And going off of the look on her face, Kyoka probably would to.

"How about that, I made me a Kyoka burrito." He chuckled softly to himself. He leaned down and gave her a smooch on her forehead before going to walk out of his room. "I'm gonna go make us something to eat, hope you're still here so I can serve you breakfast in bed. See ya in a little bit, Vi."

And with that, he gently closed his door and went downstairs to make them some brunch.
