Wong stared at Stephen.
Stephen stared back at Wong.
“I told you.”
“I know.”
“I warned you.”
Stephen couldn’t help but pout at the reminder.
“I’m not helping you with this. You knew better so now you have to deal with the consequences.”
“But Wong-“
“This is absolutely your fault.”
“Wong, I’m a talking cat.”
“Yes, and you’ll be a hit at the Halloween party. I wouldn’t have been forced to curse my own candy if you would have stopped stealing it. Now you get to be a cat who’s allergic to chocolate for two weeks.”
“Two weeks?!”
“Payback is a bitch, Strange. Stop stealing my candy.”
