If Date had the chance to go into his past and do things over again, there were definitely some things he would change. His relationship with Adachi, for one thing. Even when things were at their most hectic with Kiryu, he could never stop thinking about his senpai and what could have been if things were just a little bit different–if he had just been a little bolder.
He was meant to meet up with Adachi in the Champion District in a few hours to finally catch up over drinks after years apart, getting him nostalgic for the past. As he got ready to leave, he couldn’t help but remember the first time he could have made a move on Adachi but didn’t.
