Summary
They felt that it beckoned them to follow- staring into them with its dark eyes that reflected the forest around themselves within the pale moon-light.
“Follow me.”
It was recognizable, having heard it before. Yet they couldn’t remember who it belonged to. Gingerly, they got up from their place in the snow steaming around them…the after birth clinging to their skin as blood coated their body. The great deer also had crimson red trailing from behind.
“I-I’m coming- I have to learn to walk again!”
Joan Summers was an inpatient of a psychiatric facility after the attempted murder of her own father. It would seem that lightening struck when her assigned therapist was none other than Doctor Hannibal Lecter himself, who couldn't help but see her as a lost, vulnerable lamb that was going to slaughter. Lightening struck twice for the poor girl, and she must make the decision of either running from the cannibal, or joining him in twisted visions of a family.
This Hannibal is also the Sir Anthony Hopkins version, mixed with the demonic elements of the TV show.
