A nice, clean room with great amenities. I slept like a baby. Removed one star because the provided breakfast wasn’t very good. Who puts marmalade straight onto the tray????????

The receptionist, Jeff, was disorganised and rude. He didn’t seem to know what room we were staying in and spent 20 minutes just trying to find the key. He was also very pushy about “adding on to our service” by booking a morning fishing trip with him. I heard him call me a twat as I was walking away but when I confronted him he refused to admit it. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

Breakfast was a bit plain and the tea was way too sweet, but we mainly booked for the waterfront view. Room had a bit of a smell. Tried to air it out ourselves but a seagull flew in through the open window and wouldn’t leave. Reception was unhelpful – said the bird was a friend of theirs and that the room belonged to him?!?!

Beds were comfortable, but the inn itself was so noisy we found it hard to sleep. Very strange choice to do construction in the middle of the night while hosting guests.

Hosted my wedding reception here. Great space for about 20 guests, a unique spot with a really lovely view of the water. Stede was very attentive throughout the whole evening. He even provided a wedding cake for us as part of the package. Definitely recommend trying the 40 orange glaze cake during your visit, it was all the guests could talk about! Removed two stars because Jeff kept trying to give us knives so that we could “slice each other’s faces”, which was a bit off-putting for everyone.

We came for the pirate tour in Olde Town so we booked Jeff’s Inn because it was walking distance from most of the things we had planned for our holiday. Stede was very knowledgeable about pirates and helpful in recommending other places to visit. Great place to stay!

Lovely place. Very cozy, amazing view by the ocean. I stayed up to watch the stars on the shore and was joined by a beautiful man with one leg. He didn’t tell me his name but he had a lot of great stories about the area. When I asked the owners who he was they just started crying? The breakfast buffet was just okay. The fish was a bit burnt.

Nice room. Heard a cat bell ringing all night. Went to investigate and found the cutest little black cat wandering around! Stede told me she’s a local stray they rescued. Would visit again just to see Worm.

I think the owner is having an affair??? The couple who run the place are called Stede and Jeff but I definitely heard Jeff moaning “Izzy.” It made for a very interesting conversation with the other guests the next morning!

We were the only guests. Dinner service was a bit awkward because the owners kept trying to make small talk about the fish, which was good but not great. The gift shop is definitely worth a visit, we got a cute wooden shark that Jeff said was handmade.

Stede and Jeff were very welcoming. Super open-minded when I requested an upgrade to the king bed for myself, my girlfriend and her husband. There were some odd gouges in one of the walls but it added to the overall charm.

Great location but Jeff and Stede invited the ladies from the antique shop over for dinner since it was a quiet evening. It was fine until one of them stabbed the other. Two stars because Stede refunded our stay in compensation.

Hosts were very accommodating with my son’s food allergies, which was much appreciated. I expected more recognition of the King, maybe a flag or two, but none were present; maybe next time! One star off because, on arrival, one of them accidentally locked us out of our room for over half an hour and couldn’t find the key.

Came here to do an overnight ghost investigation. Lots of activity! The thermal imaging camera picked up a figure walking up and down the hallway. The EVP recorder picked up on someone saying “fuck off.”

Hosted a surprise birthday dinner for my wife here. Stede and Jeff were helpful in organising the food and the decorations, and even got in touch with a local band to play live music for us. Removed two stars because the hosts started sobbing when they played La Vie En Rose and it made things very awkward.

Stayed overnight after the owners contacted me requesting that I come and bless the inn. They believed there was a spirit of some kind on the premises. Heard a disembodied voice telling me to fuck off several times while I was praying.

Visited Jeff’s Inn By the Sea etc etc after I saw their Ghost Investigation package. Pretty cool experience. Removed one star because the ghost didn’t tell me to fuck off.
