    Summary

    At the Ice Caves, Wangji's life hangs by a thread as Wen Qing continues wrestling with death to keep both Wangji and the child safe.
    Lan Qiren arrives with Xichen. To his surprise, he finds Wen Qing tending to Wangji. She doesn't mince her words when she flatly puts out the fact that the whipping might not only endanger the child, but also Wangji himself. Qiren requests her to save the two lives, no matter what it takes.
    She finishes the transfer of spiritual energy and seals the energy in Wangji's meridians with her acupuncture needles. She assures everyone that both Wangji and the child are stable. Qiren thanks her and takes his leave. Xichen thanks Wen Qing.
