They were glad that this didn’t end too quickly actually.
Which was something that they wouldn’t say easily, because they truly disliked this mode from the bottom of their heart at this point. Perhaps they’d go so far as to say that what they felt was more than just ‘dislike,’ but it was fine now. Because they came across their favorite survivor in the manor while playing.
It took Yima everything not to throw themselves at a particular survivor sitting at the dining table once she was spotted. Patricia looked beautiful as ever, seemingly deep in thought as she stared down at the cursed emblem in her hands. Yima was sure that they would be able to stare at her like this for the entire day. But they were greedy, itching for but a small touch of her skin.
Yima liked Patricia. Patricia was nice to be around, and they’ve had pleasant chats together that Yima held dear even to this day. It was good that Patricia tended to keep to herself, because then they could be one of the few things that she would pay attention to. That was good. They liked having Patricia to themselves.
The game was starting as they were still plagued by their thoughts. Yima didn’t care to do much, leaving Robbie to do whatever he wanted as they wandered off. Looking for the object of their affection while more than happily ignoring whoever else they came across. Thank god that they could easily avoid the traps set up around the place…they seemed very annoying.
It didn’t take them long to find Patricia. The maze was big, but the survivors hadn’t progressed far enough by this point. Still stuck in that small area right next to the entrance of the church. Yima watched Patricia head over to a place where they remembered one of the dead ends to be, clueless. They took it as an opportunity to go forth with their plan.
Their footsteps were soft as they walked right behind the older woman, only to rush forward once they saw her pause and almost turn around.
“Patric…ia…!” Yima called as they bumped into her, tightly hugging her as they buried their face in her back. Unable to contain their excitement. Patricia was soft and warm to them, they loved holding her like this so much. It felt like they were one. “You’re- here…”
Patricia stayed quiet for a few beats. Looking behind her to observe the cloaked figure, posture relaxing once she recognized the large eyes looking up at her. “Ah. I didn’t know that you were one of the tricksters, Yima.”
“Mmh.” Was all they responded with. Mainly focused on the hug that was shared with Patricia. She couldn’t move much with her arms held in confinement by Yima’s.
“Are you alone? I think that I only saw the Axe Boy some time ago…it’s unusual for you to be this far away from Yidhra.”
"Yes, alone..." They mumbled against her skin. “Free time.”
“I see.” Patricia was able to get her arms out of Yima’s tight hold. Thankfully she didn’t make them actually let go, instead resting her hands on top of Yima’s. Warm. “You must be having fun, it isn’t often that I see you being able to play together with your friends like this.” Because they were banned from every goddamn fun mode.
“No. Want to do something else…” They mumbled, but was still speaking loud enough for Patricia to hear. “Want to go with Pat. Game isn’t fun…”
“Ah, is that so? I’d love to spend time with you, but- what about your friend?”
“Doesn’t matter.” Was all they replied with. They honestly didn’t care about whatever Robbie would do without them at the moment. Yidhra could let Robbie have one of the followers if she felt generous enough, or maybe he could invite the Little Girl. Both survivors and hunters could play as the tricksters.
Patricia looked as if she wanted to say more to that, but she didn’t. “Then I’ll be more than happy to spend time with you, I don’t have much to do today anyways.”
Yima finally let go of Patricia, giving her some space. “I’m happy.” They truly were, they were more than happy.
“I’m happy too.” Patricia smiled.
“Let’s part ways for now. We’ll be meeting later, after all.” Yima nodded at her words. Suddenly more than excited to make the most of this last round and smack all the Survivors besides Patricia down. They got to spend time with their favorite survivor after this!!!
“Mhm.” They were about to leave, giddy. Only to be stopped.
“Ah, by the way-” Yima was quick to turn back. Giving her all of their attention.
“Your costume, it’s cute.”
…!
They felt so warm.
