Summary
Ichigo gets pressured to attend a Halloween costume party with Grimmjow--but it's definitely not a date, despite what anyone says--and then magical chaos ensues, leaving Ichigo with some brand-new appendages that they are both eager to try out.
“You have a date for Halloween?!” Orihime squealed.
“What? No! No, not a date! No!” Ichigo squealed back. “Not a date. At all. But plans. Kinda.” Seeing how the entire class’s attention was still focused on him, he figured he’d better attempt to explain. “One of our friends from … one of our mutual friends who comes to stay at Urahara’s sometimes is supposed to come into town sometime this week so we can spar. It could be tonight. Or not.”
Now that he said it out loud, it sounded like a pretty lame excuse. Giving up a definite party with friends for just the potential of a fight with Grimmjow sounded a little...desperate. And he realized it. From the looks on his classmates’ faces, they realized it too.
“Well, bring him along!” Orihime said, clapping her hands in delight. “Surely he can wait one night to spar with you. So if he arrives tonight, bring him to the party. We’re going to have food! And games!”
