(“I have a way to get us out of here,” Hizashi had said quietly, shortly after coming to and figuring out that the both of them had been grabbed by supernatural traffickers.
Shouta raised a brow at him from where he was curled up on the other side of their small cage, nursing his no doubt bruised ribs. “And how’s that, sweet talk our way out?” he asked, voice a hint sarcastic. He lifted a hand, the shackle on his wrist clinking. “In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t think they’re all too keen on being nice to us - not to mention I’m pretty sure your cuffs suppress magic.”
Hizashi fingered the runes on the shackles on his own wrists, humming. “They do,” he agreed. “And I’m sure the lovely people here thought these would keep me from accessing my magic.”

Some Supernatural Traffickers think that trying to catch a werewolf and a sorcerer will work out for them, especially by cutting the sorcerer off from his magic. Hizashi proves they were wrong to think so.
