Work Text:
A happy big family we be, dressed as cats perhaps, but it’s all much fun, even if none too deep
There is this one thing you see
As derived from a far far away galaxy
The natives call it, Halloween
The day of ghouls, oddities and misfits hanging out for all to see
And so we, have adopted this custom to our very own
As we too bee kind of ghouls and different, being clones
Finally having a space in time where we can be so bold
Dressing up in fancy getups, basically in whatever we want!
Being ourselves in some way, form or fashion
Not having the smelly always on uniform to don
And that, is certainly part of the very fun, no form!
Fun, being not really part of our rigid training, of who we are
Begging for candy and such is a thing too
But no so much, still the Jedi Generals too do
Have bought some for us, giving them away freely for sure!
And isn’t that just a kind thing, something perhaps later about of to sing?
Alas, on this very special day, it is allowed
Even out in the open, among others, without carrying weapons
The troopers we are, having some time off and certainly being loud!
It may just be for the one day and night we can be free
But, all of us, the clones, are holding this precious event
Close to our hearts, having fun, gathering candy even until we are spent
And as we rest our heads, sharing stories of the scares…
… well, we all feel like those kids again, we could never have been
