"What fits me the most? Vampire or clown?" Benson asked, holding up two different costumes for his friends to choose from.
All of them agreed on the vampire costume, so Benson took it with him to the dressing room to try it on.
Wolf was struggling with finding a costume for halloween. It was her first time going out trick or treating. Although her friends were a bit too old for the childish tradition, they all wanted to get free candy.
"What about a ghost, Wolf?" Kipo asked, trying to give Wolf suggestions as to what she could dress up as.
"That's boring. And ghosts aren't even that scary," Wolf sighed, looking through the costumes with her size.
"Seven year old Kipo would beg to differ!" Kipo huffed and Wolf rolled her eyes at the comment.
She was almost at the edge of giving up when Benson came back out from the dressing room, wearing a dracula costume.
"I'll suck all your blood out, bleh bleh bleh!" he laughed mischeavously before noticing Wolf's lack of costume. "Wolf, where's your costume?"
"I can't find anything. Nothing's good enough," the younger girl muttered.
"Hmm..." Benson looked Wolf up and down, trying to come up with something that would fit her. "A mummy?"
"That's already taken by Dave," Wolf reminded and Benson got back into thinking.
The something just clicked.
"What about a werewolf? Your name is Wolf and you used to wear literal skin of a wolf. Isn't that fitting?" Benson suggested, noticing the way Wolf's eyes lit up at the suggestion.
"Sure. That sounds good enough," she shrugged, going back to her search to find a werewolf costume in her size.
Kipo watched her siblings happily. She had already decided to go out as herself, but as party jaguar. Why buy a costume when she could turn herself into one?
When her siblings finally found their desired costumes, they paid for them and then left the store to go back home.
Song and Lio were putting up decorations. The house looked all spooky and scary when the three humans came back home. Kipo was proud of her parents. They couldn't have done anything better!
It was only a few days before halloween. It felt like it took forever until the desired day finally came. But it was worth the wait.
Especially with their new, amazing costumes.
The trio took turns using the bathroom to get dressed. In the end, they all looked very scary. Song and Lio wanted to be their makeup artists. Lio drew blood on Benson's face while Song added claw marks and blood on Wolf's. Kipo chose to go without any makeup, using her jaguar eyes, teeth and ears instead. She had gone with a torn up dress instead of her usual attire. She wanted to look at least a little bit spooky on halloween!
The Oak's were really proud of the end result of their costumes and makeup. They grabbed a basket for each of them where they could put their candy. Opening the door, they all decided that it was time to go trick or treating.
Kipo was sure that it would be the best halloween ever!
