He doesn’t care.
Dream moves George’s body from his lap and lays it on the grass beside him, pressing a chaste kiss to George’s forehead. He evens his breath and admires long eyelashes, tan skin, dark hair. Scorching the image into his mind, he rises to his knees.
Dream turns his whole body to the witch, and grovels at her feet.
“Please,” he begs, “bring him back.”
