Summary
It's been a bit more then a year since the events in Balders gate. The group has since disbanded and Astarion and Valentine have settled into their own little corner of happiness and domestic bliss, but she's always been determined to help Astarion find a way in the sun again even if their attemps so far have proven unsuccessful. She always finds a way. Their love is something so very special, so unique...just like the two of them. After everything they have done and everything they have been through, It's about time some favors got called in. They have more then earned a happy ending. When old friends reunite under the guise of such silly reasons. Is it really just that or has more been being done behind the scenes? At the end of the day, the road to happily ever after may look clear, but our past storm clouds may still be on the horizon.
Lots of fluff, bits of angst and lots of flashbacks. Chapters may be darker further into the story.
Smutty stuff starts in Chapter 3, but it is not the majority of the story, though there is quite a bit. Mostly cannon compliant with a few minor tweaks here and there. This is going to be a long fic. I'm awful at tags, not beta read so forgive any spelling errors/missteps.
