Work Text:
"Hmf! I've told you all I know, Prowl, what more you want out of a femme?"
"I'm not dumb, Redwheel," Prowl counters, crossing his arms.
"Whatever do you mean, I didn't say you were.."
"With your line of, work, you hear more than some of our actual informants, I know you know something about this, so talk, and maybe you won't end up in a cell for blocking an investigation."
"Prowl baby, that just ain't fair, you know I gotta work..." Redwheel says, collapsing onto her bed with a dramatic but silent huff.
Really she shouldn't have let him in if this is how he was going to act, really, threatening to lock her up like some common criminal, how low.
Prowl doesn't give her any show of sympathy. He knows she has the information that he wants. And he was going to get it.
Redwheel rolls over.
"Check Swerve's, that's the last place I heard he was going to head to tonight," she finally laments, sighing, "But don't mention that you got it from me, bad for business, ya'know?"
"Great," Prowl says, rather than thanking her like he should, especially since she'd likely just lost herself a client.
She looks at him from where she's laying, eyeing him for a moment before she rolls herself off her berth and onto her feet, approaching him with a small sway to her steps.
"Maybe next time, you'll come by for more than just-" the golden tips of her fingers slyly up his outer thigh, "-business.~"
He removes her hand with enough grace to not just be throwing her off him, "It is always going to be business, Redwheel."
She sighs, shrugging like it's not an issue, "Can't blame a femme for trying," and kisses him on the cheek, leaving behind a tint of her golden lipstick, before ushering him towards the door, "Be safe out there, mister law enforcement."
