   MEPHISTO - PHELES

   Mephistopheles, also called Mephisto, familiar spirit of the Devil in late settings of the legend of Faust.
   The name Mephistopheles was probably invented for the historical Johann Georg Faust (c. 1480–c. 1540) by the anonymous author of the first Faustbuch (1587).
   He uses that power to manipulate events throughout time, travel to and from his "dimensions", change his shape, emit blasts of hellish energy, and cloud minds.
   Mephisto is also known as one of the greatest manipulators in existence, able to craft contracts to lure even the most pure souls to his dark realm.
