Peter landed on the edge of a building after the third attempted mugging. In complete honesty they were not bad, fighting and disarming wise. It was a slow night, his dad was expecting to see him when it turned midnight since it's the weekend. It was only 10:35 pm so he had time to spend.
He looked around the city he loved. No one knew Spiderman's identity and he liked it that way. Call it hiding or him being a menace like The bugle claims him to be. His dad almost bought the entire thing so he can fire J.Jameson luckily Peter convinced him not to.
He looked at the lights that made the city shine. Every apartment building had a person living in it. They live their lives, and have routines.
Peter loves his routine although it can sometimes be difficult and make him feel like all the bad things that happened and he didn't stop or was unable to was his fault. But he had his dad to comfort him and tell him it wasn't. His dad was his biggest supporter, it took some time for him to get on board with him being Spiderman but even then every time he got injured he was nearby to help.
He also has his aunts and uncles he can go to, Steve or Uncle Rhodey was his go-to when his dad wasn't able to do it. He didn't know what exactly to call Steve because since he's dating his dad, he can't really call him Uncle but he can't call him Pops or something at least not yet. He lays down on the edge of the building just enough for him to be comfortable. It wasn't directly near the sidewalk or where people could spot him if they walked by.
He didn't take his mask off just in case there were surveillance cameras nearby. He did not need his secret identity to be revealed nor did he want it to be. That would be a major hassle and it's one that his dad and Aunt Pepper would not enjoy.
"Hey Karen. Anything suspicious?" Since the city lights are so bright it is hard to see the stars. There are still visible but very few Peter fortunately landed on a building that shows quite a few. He was looking at the stars when Karen responded
"No, police scanners have not detected anything and neither have mine. Would you like something to pass the time?" Music wouldn't be bad. It will make time less boring so that would be a good thing.
"Sure Karen, put some Music on, you can choose one from my playlist" Peter didn't have one in particular so it would be interesting to see which Karen picks.
"Gladly" It took a few seconds but he can't say he's disappointed. It's Adele 'Skyfall' . Adele can't do anything wrong, she is one of the best artists in Peter's opinion. Peter started to hum. Still looking at the individual stars that appear
After the first verse of the song he was relaxed enough to close his eyes and sing along.

Peter's hand was on his stomach, he was bopping his head to the song. Ever since the spider bite he could inhale a good amount of air. He lasted 6 minutes in the bottom of the pool much to his dad's protest that it wasn't safe.

Peter thought that Adele had some of the greatest songs that's kind of why most if not all of her songs are in his playlist. Beyonce and AC/DC are there too, can never go wrong with either.
He continues to sing the post chorus. He doesn't even know if he is singing well. He never exactly sang aloud at this rate, his dad or anyone in his family didnt know he could even hit a single note without sounding like a cat that's being strangled. Peter is pretty sure he is deaf tone. He doesn't want them to know either, they probably would think he sounded terrible. It doesn't stop him at the moment because no one knew he was here and no one could hear.

It was about to come to a close. He sucked in a breath and tunes out the cars with running engines, dogs that bark, the talking of people.

Breathing in back air after the long ending. He actually started to feel the need to sleep but that quickly went away when he opened his eyes and proceeded to hear a firetruck a few blocks away.
"Karen what's happening" he stands up and drops off shooting a web. He follows.
"A building nearby has set the fire alarm, dispatch radio has said that some residents are unable to get out " he swings faster to get to the building Karen has routed him too.
Doesn't take long to get the people who were stuck out with medical care. None was injured, only out of breath which was taken care of.
He made his way to the tower at 11:48. His dad was on the living room couch with the TV on. "I didn't break the curfew! " his dad looked him up and down, seeming to be scanning for something. Once it was deemed he checked what he was looking for Peter took his mask off. His dad looked at him smiling, Peter felt like he was 6 years old again where his dad was proud of him for winning first place in the science fair.
"Go take a shower, you stink. We're watching Star Wars." Peter's eyes widened and smiled widely.
"Oh my god! I'll be back, no take backsies don't move!" His dad usually complains about the amount of times they watch Star Wars. Peter secretly thinks his dad actually likes it. He ran to his room to take a shower. Completely forgetting about what he did before the fire.
He also completely forgot about the baby monitor protocol as he walks towards the couch after showering.
