Chapter Text
Considering their true age, Leviathan should be the eldest among the brothers.
That was surprising to hear, but it was also true, just like the fact that Satan should have been the youngest in the family.
Leviathan is a mistake of God, but because of the little angel's love and the big angel's tolerance, Leviathan exists within the family.
No one knows, no one understands, no one realizes.
They didn't understand why Leviathan never fully approached them, always locking himself in his room.
They didn't realize how unusual Leviathan's treatment of them was.
They don't know that there is always a pair of eyes watching them, watching from the shadows.
(Except for one.)
------------------------------------------------------------
The first creature God created from his body was an ugly creature, with scales covering its entire body, neck, and long tail.
It was a failed product and it was also the first intelligent being created by God.
For that reason, God did not kill this creature, but at the same time he did not want to see it, very much wanted to deny the fact that this ugly creature had a part of himself inside.
God named that creature Leviathan, put it into the ocean, created countless sea creatures to feed it, and then ignored this failure.
Leviathan had always observed God from the darkness of the ocean, watching him create his most perfect creation.
God was pleased with this creature full of light, without a trace of impurity of darkness.
Wings as white as clouds, skin as white as softness, hair as golden as the sun, eyes blue as the sky, a beautiful face that almost resembled God.
God considered it his child, giving the name Lucifer to this child.
He waved his hand and created countless other creatures with wings like Lucifer, calling them angels.
------------------------------------------------------------
Unlike the unconscious sea creatures next to Leviathan, angels from birth gain consciousness, then gradually gain emotions.
Angels lived in the sky, the closest place to God, while Leviathan lived in the deepest part of the world, when hell had not yet appeared.
If it is said that the first feeling that Leviathan has is love for its creator, then the second feeling is jealousy.
God is disgusted with Leviathan, his false existence.
God loves Lucifer, his perfect creation.
Leviathan envied the angels who lived closest to him, while he was down here, only able to observe them from below the ocean.
Every time this happens, Levi's disgust for himself increases.
Why does he hate them? When he's this ugly?
So he turned to observe Lucifer, seeing how perfect Lucifer was, the feelings of jealousy and self-hate became stronger, and at the same time gave birth to feelings of admiration.
He observes Lucifer from the beginning innocent to the calm and calm moment, managing the ever-growing number of angels that God entrusts to heaven.
Leviathan certainly couldn't do that, which made Leviathan admire Lucifer, and at the same time had a strange feeling inside it.
(In the future, Leviathan looked at Mammon, suddenly understanding what this feeling was.
That's pride.
Proud of having such a perfect younger brother, no, older brother.)
------------------------------------------------------------
One day, Lucifer prayed to God about having a sibling, and Leviathan observed their birth.
Unlike when he was born, his mind was still vague so he couldn't observe closely, this time Levi saw everything clearly from beginning to end.
After watching, Leviathan was silent.
Why does he feel like this little angel was created so arbitrarily just like him?
