Work Text:
Layla spends the rest of her days locked in a manor
The melancholic young woman looks out of the window
Holding the regret in her heart of never see her loved one ever again
She leaves the frame of the window, walking away from it weakly
Majnun run away, and get lost in the desert
The young man's hand lies on a pile of papers
Where he wrote thousands of poems dedicated to Layla
Just the half of his face is seen, there's a sad expression on it, his eyes are closed
And in his last days, he raves that he dances with her in the night sky
Luminary observes the half-open window from afar. He peeks through it, Layla turns around in surprise, tears falling down her cheeks
Their hands are inches away from each other
Finally meeting each other again in the afterlife
Everlasting Night and Luminary dance together, and he is able to gently hold his beloved's hand once again.
