Summary
"There is nothing but smoke and ash in Korrinas lungs making it hard for them to breathe. Nothing but the vile taste of blood and poison lingering in their mouth after a deadly fight. And yet here they are in the house by the forest watching, praying and hoping Loki will protect them. And he does and Korey hopes and prays for the strength to keep fighting in a war that doesn't belong to them. That they had no part in creating and yet here they are faking a smile through the ash, blood and smoke and with poison seeping into their words as they spin tales. And then later on in the safety of their spouses arms in their bedroom in their house on their farm where they should feel safe, they break down into gasping heaving sobs and beg for someone to save them from the pit they’re drowning in. And Korey begs and begs for someone, anyone to save them."
