   Summary

   Following the plot of the 2011 romcom by the same title, Hope Mikaelson is a surgeon who has recently had her heart broken on her wedding day. She uses questionable tactics to cope. She meets Maya Machado and is immediately attracted to her, but Maya is hesitant to involve herself in a seemingly messy situation. Instead of coming clean to her, Hope enlists her assistant, Josie, to pose as her ex in an attempt to ease Maya's concerns. But the web of lies continues to grow out of control, creating more problems than Hope and Josie anticipated.
