Summary
Jedi and their kyber crystals form a unique bond, and a crystal will change its colour to reflect its wielder's emotions. This can be a problem when your saber's honesty betrays you, so Jedi Padawans learn control at an early age. For Anakin, it's yet another lesson that younglings half his age seem to grasp better than he.
Obi-Wan knows Anakin isn't a conventional Padawan, and conducts a lesson of his own to help Anakin adjust to a structured Jedi education.
