Chapter Text
"Funny seeing you here commander" Ventress dawled as she breezed down the detention corridor.
He looked up at her half thinking she was a hallucination. He wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't anymore. He knew he was constantly angry and scared and lonely….so very very lonely.
"Kriff off witch" he finally growled.
"Now now commander, don't you want out of here?"
He simply growled at her.
She walked away leaving him to rot in his cell. He had turned his back to the door when he hear more footsteps and the cell door opening.
He growled again and turned towards the door surprised to see Ventress and another woman standing there.
"He's the perfect sister. Just what we need. Just what the mother needs."
"Back off witch" he snarled.
She simply laughed and approached her hands outstretched. "If you wish to get out of here I will help you." She placed both hands on his shoulders and began to quickly chant words he had no understanding of. The world felt hazy and different like he wasn't part of it just watching from the outside. There was a flash of green and then nothing.
"A loth wolf really….."
"You did say his name was Wolffe did you not sister?"
"Yenna that doesn't mean he is a wolf."
She chuckled patting his hip and hopping onto his back. "I did not choose the form. Mother did. Now if you want a fast exit, let's go."

"Can you believe it Alex? Our first night watch and it's at a max security block!"
"We aren't even watching a dangerous person Jorel, Just some clone who's lost his mind."
"Not just any clone, that's commander Wolffe. It took a whole battalion of commandos to take him out. He's got nothing to lose and he knows it. Probably just keeping him here until they can send him off to be genetic fodder on mt tannis."
Alex scoffed "how do you even know that?"
"I overheard my father talking to Peleon on a holo call. He says some scientist is trying to create super soldiers and the clones are the perfect test subject. Its not like they are actual people anyway. No better than a gungan or a wookie."
"Ah ah, at least the gungan and the wookie can vote."
Jorel laughed "true that and force forbid those lab experiments actually got that right i bet the-" he stopped as they both heard the sound of something running down the hall.
Before they even knew what was happening a blaster bolt had struck Jorel in the chest. Alex scrambled for cover trying to locate the threat. It almost seemed like the shadows themselves were attacking. Suddenly he was thrown to the ground as a huge dog of some kind bit down on his arm. He let out a yelp as it shook him finally throwing him at a nearby wall where he lost consciousness. All he was able to tell his superiors was that he saw two women one pale one dark skinned and a large beast tearing out of the prison. He was not awake when the commander apparently also fled.

Wolffe woke disoriented on a ship that smelled of spices and soil.
"Ahhhh he awakes. Let me look at him."
"Wha…where…who…."
"Relax Wolfie. We got you out of that nasty detention center and not a moment too soon. The good doctor was on his way to collect his new pet."
There was another woman now at his side petting him and cooing.
"You did such a wonderful job."
"Yenna is correct. You took to magic much easier than I thought you might."
"My saber…..they took my saber."
"Well….that was hardley the response i was expecting however you might be pleased to know I recently liberated Plo's saber from some rather unsavory men at the officers club."
Wolffe shook his head. "No, this one was mine. I made it myself and that stupid imp took it from me."
"You fancy yourself a force user commander?" Ventress all but scoffed at him.
"I could wipe the floor with you witch!" He growled, sitting up and realizing there was a pain in his midsection.
"Easy. Yenna worked so hard to put you back together. For now I will take your word. Perhaps we can keep an eye out for this saber. What color was it?"
"It…was..mostly purple.but occasionally just a slight bit red. Plo told me it was nothing to worry about, said it was only because I was still training."
Ventress snorted "we don't shame red sabers here. Nothing wrong with a little darkness to do your bidding. Seeing as though you are no jedi the rules on attachments hold no meaning to you. Soldiers fight however they need to survive. It is why the jedi fell. They were too stuck in their ways to see the rot until it was too late."
"You mean us."
The older woman with them.tutted and sat beside him on the cot. "You are not the rot. Palpatine and his kind are the rot, count dooku was the rot. You children were given no option. The force weeps for the clones as they have been dealt a hand no being should. We shall endeavor to free palpatine's slave army. But for now, I require something of you. Our numbers have faltered and we are all that's left. The inquisitors have already taken one of us and lady Elsbeth has thrown in her lot with the emperor and forsaken our sisterhood as it does not suit her needs. I wish to have a daughter who is a warrior like you. Yenna, do you remember your mothers teachings?"
The one cuddling Wolffe nodded eagerly. "Oh yes mother. I do. I am eager to help bring us a new sister"
"Good girl. Let us begin the ritual then."
