   Summary

It’s late 1998 in Lawrence, Kansas. It had been three years since Mrs. Schmidt passed away, and almost a year since the disappearance of Mr. Schmidt. Michael barely manages to stay afloat, attempting to hold down any minimum wage job that agrees to hire him while taking care of his 5 year-old sister Abby on his own. As the holiday season rounds the corner, Mike is determined to give his sister the best Christmas ever. Well, the best one a 20-year old can.
