Jungkook doesn't need much to be satisfied, and anyone will tell you that. Despite being known as an international pop star, he doesn't automatically assume he's entitled to anything, which makes his hyungs incredibly proud of him for raising him right. However, there is only so much a man like Jungkook can take when his boyfriend, of all things, doesn't properly act like they've been dating for a few weeks (almost two months, mind you), and doesn't follow the rules of a couple. Now, whenever he shares his concerns with his other hyungs, they assure him Seokjin doesn't do it on purpose, but that doesn't stop him from sulking and pouting when nobody agrees with him. It's not even like he wants to do something out-of-the-world unreasonable; he just wants to wear Seokjin's clothes, damn it.
Logically, Jungkook knows the older would immediately do anything he asks, but somehow, he wants the latter to arrive at the same conclusion all on his own. After all, wouldn't the younger seem adorable, cuddly and tiny, drowning in the older's clothing? He definitely thinks so, and if Seokjin doesn't realise or acknowledge that, there must be something wrong with his eyes and taste. Fortunately, Mrs Jeon didn't raise no quitter, and Jungkook won't give up until he accomplishes his task; after all, what Jeon Jungkook wants, that's what Jeon Jungkook gets.
His master plan starts innocently enough during their movie date night. The new couple always reserved the living room on Wednesday evenings to watch something together and cuddle unashamedly without the rest of the group rolling their eyes at them. Not that the couple was bothered by those, seeing as they knew their groupmate were very supportive, but they mostly wanted to have some privacy and enjoy themselves with the allusion of being two regular people who are dating, not two massive popstars with millions of people watching their every move. Seokjin always lets Jungkook choose what they will be watching, seeing as he is weak to the younger's eyes, so he doesn't even bother to pretend to fight his boyfriend for this. Jungkook knows, and he makes constantly sure to pick something that they both will enjoy. Not that they end up watching much of the movies anyway, too busy exchanging light kisses, smelling each other's skin (mostly Jungkook) and tickling each other.
Both men adore these private romantic moments they get to spend together without any expectations, just them being them together. Today, Jungkook chooses a romantic comedy, knowing that genuinely romantic movies just make them both cringe, but he is a man on a mission, so he can't just simply give up, and he must utilise every weapon at his disposal. He purposefully wore only a thin shirt, aware that the living room runs cold, so he wouldn't be able to fight the inevitable shivering, which, when his caring boyfriend notices he will definitely share the very cuddly and soft-looking hoodie with him, and Jungkook will be able to steal the clothing article all for himself.
As the movie started playing, Jungkook nestled on the couch next to Seokjin, almost laying on top of the older, hoping to share some of his body heat seeping in waves from his boyfriend. However, the cold temperature in the room started to overpower Jungkook's sheer willpower to last at least through the first half of the movie. Soon, he couldn't pretend to be comfortable anymore, shivers running through his entire body, resulting in him shaking. He tried to inconspicuously hug Seokjin tighter, stealing some warmth from the elder, who decided to dress according to the weather outside, influencing their flat. Scoffing, Jungkook can't help but feel a bit offended that his partner doesn't immediately notice his obvious discomfort. As soon as that sliver of doubt crosses his mind, Seokjin's frame freezes underneath the boy.
'Sweetheart, are you running cold? Hyung told you to bring something warmer.' Jungkook nuzzles his head into Seokjin's neck, breathing in his calming scent.
'I thought hyung's love would keep me warm, but you must not love me enough,' answers Jungkook dramatically, laughing when the older clutches at his chest, pretending to be deeply hurt and offended. However, before the younger can do anything else, Seokjin gently peels him off of him and suddenly stands up. A part of Jungkook believes he's going to finally achieve his goal. But, his boyfriend simply goes to the thermostat and adjusts the settings, assuring the younger that soon the room will start feeling much warmer. Although to be sure, he took out a spare blanket from underneath the sofa and pulled it over the younger, tucking him in.
As much as Jungkook wants to protest the result, he can't deny being cared for like this makes him feel super appreciated and cared for, so he decides to momentarily postpone his grandiose plan, knowing it will come to fruition very soon.
Seokjin returns to the sofa and assumes his place underneath his lover, leaning in to leave a chaste kiss on his nose. As the temperature in the room adjusts enough to warm Jungkook, he realises this plan would've been futile anyway, seeing as Seokjin tends to run cold and can't stand a cool environment.
But if not today, then the next day is awaiting.
