Notes:

LOVE YOU DOTTIE! I hope you enjoy :)

Work Text:

They had been together for months now. Well, it had been months since they got back together. Their marriage wasn't bad, they had both been happy, of course they were! That's what they thought at least.

They both remembered it like yesterday. It had all started after they had both been corrupted. They didnt mean for it to happen, but gaster, of course, had other plans. He had made them into people they hated, people who would hurt the other.

“Spammy. Why can’t you just do this one thing right! Why do you always have to mess everything up up!?” Jevil yelled. He didn’t know why. It just felt natural to him, like something that he was obligated to do.

Spamton felt pissed. Pissed wasn’t even the right word, no word could describe how he felt towards Jevil. He felt rage, feelings he had never felt towards anyone before.

“Well Then [@&!] [clown]. Why Do You Have To Ruin Everything In my Life! Why [can’t] [can’t] You Just Leave Me Alone!”

Jevil sighed. “You know what Spamton, I will. I’ll leave and you’ll never see me again again.”

In the heat of the moment, Jevil packed his stuff up and left Spamton to his own endeavors. Neither of them wanted anything to do with the other. They hated each other more than anything. They had both agreed to never see each other again. Never again.

Spamton and Jevil went on their own way. Jevil on his path to murder anyone he could lay his eyes on, and Spamton running from one garbage can to another. When Spamton heard Jevil was in jail, he refused to see him. He wanted nothing to do with each other.

After years of holding a grudge, they had both agreed to meet up. Even though they both had promised themselves they would never meet again. After a while, they both had decided to push past their grudges. After all, Kris had convinced them to make up.

They both had agreed to make up. Why? Well, they both knew their resentment towards each other was pointless. They still hated each other, but they wanted to get past their childish self and make up.

When they first met up, they refused to look the other in the eye. Even though theyve grown up, they still didnt want to face the other. Spamton thought Jevil was self centered and Jevil thought Spamtom was childish. The one thing they both agreed on was that the other was annoying as hell.
It took time, but they went past their poor judgement and attempted to talk to the other.

Eventually, they had made up after finally meeting again in Castle Town. It had started out rough, with both of them dealing with addictions from their unfair emotions. Of course, smoking and drinking hadn't been the best coping mechanisms. But, not everything turns out as well as people would like.

After making up, their first date was rough. They had gone on a walk, the same first date they had when they got married. It wasn't complicated, just talking and making up. When they started this date, they still had some sort of a grudge for each other, even if they didn’t say so. They had both been mad for the other “leaving” them, even though it wasn't their intention. Being corrupted makes you do things you never would have done even in your wildest dreams.

Soon, after a few dates, they had truly started to reconnect. It just felt natural to them, everything about the way they talked to the small gestures they made to each other, it had all made sense. Talking had always been natural to them, they still connected like puzzle pieces. They had been perfect for each other, no matter what they thought.

It didn't take long before they had fully made up and gotten back together. Sure it was hard, but they were willing to do anything to get the other back. Even after all those arguments from the past, they still missed and cared for each other.

They had gone on little dates, out to cafes or go on walks. Just small things that made them both happy, but Spamton wanted to treat Jevil to an even better place. He knew just the place.

“Spammy? Spammy! Where are we going going?” Jevil said as he was pulled along by Spamton. He will admit, he loved any sort of public affection Spamton would give him. Although Spamton got embarrassed by it, he would put up with it. It made him feel more connected to Jevil,

“Well [clown around town] We Are On A Date!!” Spamton smiled. “You’ll See [clown]!”

Jevil has no idea what he had planned, but whatever it was, he would be happy as long as he got to spend time with Spamton. He would do anything for Spamton.

It didn't take long for them to get to their date spot, it was in Castle Town and it wasn’t too populated. What was it? A skating rink.

Jevil laughed, why would Spamton choose this place out of everything? He doubted Spamton was any good at this, he didn't have a single athletic bone in his body. He was a puppet after all, he wasn’t made for physical activity.

“Here You Go [clown]! I Do Happen To Be Amazing At Everything [winner! winner! winner!] So This Should Come Natural To Me.”

Jevil chuckled, he was excited to see Spamton fail at this. Sometimes, Spamton needed to lose at something.

“Spammy… you do realize you’re going to be awful at this, right right?” Jevil said as he let go of Spamtons hands. Spamton slightly frowned at the lack of contact, but he smiled anyway.

“Of Course I Wont My Jester!” He said and walked towards the checking area to get him and Jevil skates. When they both had them, they made their way to the rink. Jevil, of course, was a natural at skating. He was a jester after all! He had to be nimble.

Now Spamton… lets just say, he wasn’t the best. Now, that was more than an understatement. He couldn’t skate to save his life.

“Well then puppet boy, it seems you’re not so quick on your feet now are you you?”

Spamton grumbled and got back up again. “Well My Dear [Joker (2019)], I Can Prove You Wrong! I Just Need A Few Minutes”

Jevil smiled at the shorter one, even though he wasn't that much shorter, he still liked to tease Spamton about it. He took every chance to tease him, he knew both of them enjoyed it.

“Well, you might wanna hurry it up there there.”

He frowned and tried again. No matter how much he tried, he couldn’t get it. It started to annoy him. He kept trying but to no avail.

Jevil sensed this, and helped him up. “Would you like some help there angel angel?”

Spamton sighed and nodded, he hated being proven wrong. He was THE best salesman of the dark world. He couldn’t be wrong.

“Well first off, you need to learn how to balance. You can’t put all your weight on one leg. You need to balance between both feet feet. When you start to skate make sure you look forward, nor at me, Spammy.” Jevil smiled. “Why not try it now now?”

Spamton nodded and started to skate with all the tips Jevil had given him. He smiled when he got to get it, but he fell yet again. He sighed loudly and got back up.

“You know Spammy, you don't have to be good at everything everything! Its fine to have flaws, thats what makes you special special!” He smiled and hugged Spamton. Spamton blushed and looked away.

“"You Know What You [wolf in sheep's clothing]! I Don't Need To Do This! I Happen To Be [greatest salesman 1997]! Who Needs To Know How To skate!” Spamton said proudly.

Jevil laughed, “You really dont, do you Spammy Spammy?”
