Summary
“You,” Ed finished after a minute, almost inaudibly. “I loved you.”
There were no sounds from Izzy. Ed leaned his head on Izzy’s chest, separated from his skin only by the thin fabric of Izzy’s shirt, listening to the silence inside. He didn’t know what he expected, but his lip wobbled anyway. He shifted to hold Izzy.
In that effort, he had to adjust his arms, and something grazed his elbow.
In a last-ditch effort, Ed loves Izzy back to life.
