    Summary

“Ok, so do it,” Pac said. He tossed the sword to the ground in between them and looked at Fit expectantly.

    Fit didn’t move.

    “Fit,” Pac said, “go on.”

Fit was no stranger to betrayal. It usually felt like a knife to the back or TNT in your base. On occasion, it felt like grim determination to grief your own base before someone else could steal your glory.

It was the grim determination that Fit was feeling now, none of the soaring elation of getting your own back from your enemies. The Federation could send them to other worlds. “I’m not going to kill you,” Fit said.

    --

Fit decided that he wouldn't kill Pac. Pac has other ideas.
