   Summary

   Though they weren’t originally what Eru had planned, the lord of all creation found that he quite liked the dwarves. In fact, he liked the idea of other races besides the men and elves so much that he decided to have Aule craft another. All he asked is that they have traits of the other races while remaining unique.

   Aule was quite proud of his hobbits. They had the height of the dwarves, the ears of the elves, the stomachs of men, and the love of all things that grow from the ents. He even gave their hair the various colorations of the eagles.

   What he hadn’t expected was to meet one of his little hobbits. He never expected to hold him so dear that he visited every time his little Bilbo called out for him.

   Besides, what harm could he do? The only person he ever allowed to see him was Bilbo. Giving his little hobbit advice about rather mundane things was always a joy. It wasn’t like his presence was going to disrupt the plans that Eru had for all of Middle Earth.
