Jaskier could hear Lambert’s slow and steady heartbeat where his head rested on his chest. The sun peaked through the window. It was one of the few days they weren’t swamped with chores, so he and Lambert were taking full advantage of the warm bed.
Two sets of familiar footsteps stopped and opened the bedroom door. “Layabouts” Eskel muttered fondly.
“Not moving,” Lambert retorted.
“Yeah, it’s gonna take a pretty convincing argument to get us to leave,” Jaskier added. He snuggled further into Lambert’s chest. Lambert tightened his hold on the bard with a smug grin.
Leave it to Lambert and Jaskier to find a way to cuddle indignantly.
Geralt hummed and said, “Breakfast is ready.”
Jaskier’s eyes opened. “I have been convinced.”
“That’s cheating,” Lambert whined as his Jaskier-shaped blanket left him.
“So you don’t want any?” Eskel teased.
“Fuck no!” The youngest Wolf protested, scrambling after the others.
