Summary
Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule, Link is her knight, and Ganondorf is the ruler of a far-off land with hidden interests. This is the way it has always been and always will be. They never remembered what happened last time. Every incarnation was born naïve, every incarnation born the same, it was a curse. Just enough time between for fact to become legend, and legend to become myth. Just enough time for the next incarnation to be born into a world that had forgotten. Some times were better than others. Sometimes demise continued to slumber, only half-heartedly attempting to mold the world in his image. Some times were worse than others. Hylia put to her limits and ultimately, failing. This time was not like either of those, this time already felt different.
