Summary
Cate didn’t want to fuck up things with Marie the same way she did with Luke. You know, mess up with her head until she ends up killing herself like she did with Luke. Because that’s what she always seem to do, ruin people. Her brother. Her mother. Luke. She could blame it on her powers, but she knows she’s the problem. Even if she has good intentions she always ends up hurting someone. Cate already come in terms with that fact, the problem is, she really didn’t want that to happen with Marie.
However, by the way Marie is staring at her right now, she knows she already fucked up everything. There is no turning back. At least she needs to finish this.
(Or; where Cate and Marie meet in the campus hallways amidst the chaos and Cate makes another mistake.)
