    Despite all the ribald comments that followed them to their chambers, she and Clive had been so exhausted that they’d barely managed to undress and kiss each other good night before falling into a dead sleep. But now that they get to spend all morning in bed – all day if she gets her way, and she thinks she might if what happens next goes according to her newly-formed plan – she intends to make up for it.
