Work Text:

What the hell was the staff-san thinking?

As soon as the filming was ready, they were happily asking them to drive back to the jimusho so they could “do some more bonding” and then be driven back to their places to sleep.

A quick glance at Seiya told Masakado everything he needed to know about what the other thought about the whole matter.

“Taisei, I’m begging you...” He whispered to Taisei, making sure he leaned towards his friend for less than five seconds.  Just in case Seiya was watching…

“You got it, Massan.”

Thank God Taisei had managed some sleep during dawn and had a work mindset this time around, or else Masakado wouldn’t have received that bright smile and a thumbs-up from the other. He would have been glared at, instead.

“KojiKen, ready to be my Navi?” Taisei shouted after they took the commemorative selfie they both always did after every shooting.

Give it to the power of doukis!

Masakado wasn’t really sure if it was like that, but he and Taisei must have a psychic connection, because the younger went accordingly to plan even without Masakado uttering a single word.

The thing with Richa was on a completely different note, though. The guy had some sort of sixth sense or could simply catch even the tiniest details surrounding him, because he always knew what was going on and what he had to do to make it better. Whether he did it or not, that was another issue altogether. It all depended on his wicked sense of humor.

That’s why when Masakado happily hurried to open the door to the van and move the seat to let Seiya in, he shouldn’t have been surprised that Richa had distracted Masaya with only God-knows-what on his cell phone. It gave Masakado more than enough time to jump into the vehicle and sit next to Seiya.

First part of the plan ready.

Seiya was still pointedly looking out of the window, though there were only the same old buildings around them.

Masakado sighed silently. Improving Seiya’s mood would be a hell of a challenge if he was still sulking and not speaking.

He gave Seiya’s knee a light squeeze, finally earning a look from the other.

He wasn’t going to waste the precious seconds Richa and Taisei were buying him by keeping the double edges distracted.

“Everything alright?” He didn’t tilt his head much, knowing how badly his cute antics pissed Seiya off when he wasn’t in the right mood.  Like at that moment.  And Masakado didn’t feel like pushing his luck. He was on a mission to fix the other’s bad mood, after all, not to make it worse.

And it was kinda too early to get your head bitten off by the Mad Dog.

Seiya turned his head back to the window, trying to hide it from Masakado. But he caught a glimpse of Seiya’s pout through the reflection on the window glass.

“We had promised to wake everyone up this time,” he grumbled through gritted teeth. Masakado could have sworn he heard a low growl coming out of his mouth. “And that nobody would turn off the alarm…”

It took all of his acting skills to stifle a chuckle at Seiya’s cute antics.

“You are so cute, Sei-chan,” he blurted out, unable to suppress the comment. Sometimes it was easier controlling his gestures than his mouth.

Like a whip ready to inflict damage, Seiya’s head snapped back. Masakado had avoided Taisei’s glare earlier, but nothing could have saved him from Seiya’s. Not if he kept blurting out his thoughts without a filter.

“You think it’s funny!? You think it’s funny, right? You easily make paper promises, but the next second you’re all already breaking them all!! All you do is think about variety and prioritize variety, when in reality we-”

Silence.

In a swift move, Masakado grabbed the back of Seiya’s head and put an end to his cranky sputtering of nonsense with a kiss.

But, as it happened every time their lips crashed, silence didn’t last long. Seiya was everyone’s favorite Mad Dog in Kansai, but leave him in Masakado’s skillful hands and he always turned into a kitty. Still feisty and spirited, but a cute kitty, nevertheless.

And no kitty resisted Masakado’s charm.

Soon, the car was filled with Seiya’s small moans of pleasure, muffled by Masakado’s hungry lips. No matter how slow and sweet the kiss was, Seiya would always let out some little noises that showed his appreciation… to Masakado’s utter pleasure.

Masakado couldn’t stop a chuckle this time, though, when he heard — he could’ve sworn he heard — Seiya purring in the middle of the kiss.

“Ouch,” he cried out in pain, his nose scrunching with laughter when Seiya punched him on the arm. “What was that for?”

“I know you’re laughing at me,” he warned Masakado with a pointing finger.

“Am not,” Masakado softly took the finger in his hand, placed a soft kiss on its knuckle and went back to claiming Seiya’s lips as his.

It was heaven for both of them.

“There you are at it again!” Taisei complained as soon as he hopped into the driver’s seat, feeling brave because of the distance separating him from Seiya. Everyone knew he wouldn’t have dared interrupting Seiya and Masakado when they  were at it  otherwise.

Masakado couldn’t hide his grin when Taisei received a glare from his boyfriend, even worse than the one he had earned before. Thanks to Taisei, Seiya wasn’t angry just at him.

He’d have to get him a thank-you gift somewhere. Even if he did it unintentionally.

He pecked Seiya’s lips quickly to distract him from murdering Taisei with his eyes, and thoughts maybe.

“Are you better now?” Richa asked Seiya as soon as he had gotten his seatbelt fastened, turning around on his seat now that he was sure he wouldn’t find any of the usual lovey-dovey scenes he so often found, to his own dismay.

“A little,” Seiya grumbled, reluctant to accept that his boyfriend’s methods always worked when it came to fixing his mood.

“Well, get yourself together now,” Richa replied back firmly, not fully accepting his answer.

“I would be better if Taisei wouldn’t have interrupted us with his silly, unrequired opinions,” he let out loud enough to reach the driver. Taisei squirmed a bit and shot KojiKen a helpless look.

“I thought you would have fixed it by now, Masakado,” Richa spoke again, a little less firmly this time. He was facing forward, though, having spared Suezawa and Masakado enough of his attention for the day. “Are you losing your touch?”

It wasn’t like his methods weren't working, judging by Seiya’s eager response to his kiss. And it hadn't taken long to get him in the mood for... Well, for more than just pouting and looking out of the window. Masakado could have said that and many more answers he had come up with to retort to Richard’s comment, but he wasn’t stupid enough to let any of them out in front of Seiya. His boyfriend was already in a huff as it was; no need to add fuel to the fire.

He placed his hand on top of Seiya’s and stifled yet another chuckle at their size difference. Seiya was just so tiny and cute. Everything in him had been built in the cutest of ways. Even his personality and antics. In just a second, he intertwined their hands. As much as he would never admit it, Seiya loved being coddled when he was angry. Or hungry. Or sleepy. Or happy... Never in public, of course! But this time, everyone had been kind enough to ignore them both in the meantime, and that gave them enough privacy, at least for this much affection display.

Masakado leaned a bit and placed a soft kiss on his temple, before whispering “Wanna take a nap?” to Seiya’s ear in the softest voice.

A cute pouting nod was all he received as an answer.

He placed a hand on Seiya’s head and gently guided him to rest on his lap, as he had done so often before. Masakado then would spend hours just playing with Seiya’s hair, caressing it and softly scratching his scalp, as the other drifted to dreamland. It was one of his favorite things to do with Seiya.

Not the number one favorite, but close enough.

Truth was Masakado had been craving this level of intimacy all day. Especially during the challenge, when it had been a torture to have Seiya just mere inches apart for an entire hour and still unable to touch him or kiss him or…

"Don't think I forgot you threw Kojima and me under the bus..." Seiya mumbled under his breath, startling Masakado.

But there it was again, the lovely purr of contentment that signaled Seiya was closer to dreamland than to reality.

He would probably mention it again once he wakes up, accusing Masakado of treasonous crimes like not waking him up or telling staff-san only Seiya and KojiKen should challenge the waking up segment by themselves. Masakado was ready to hear the long list of crimes Seiya would accuse him upon getting back home and even to receive whatever punishment the other saw fit. Guilty , he definitely was.

Guilty of quietly staring at Seiya’s pretty sleeping face.

Guilty of stopping anyone who dared disrupt his much needed rest.

Guilty of stealing glimpses at his handsomely furious face looking out of the car window.

Guilty of taking furtive pictures of him with the cloudy sunrise at his back.

Masakado was guilty of all that and more. He knew it and was willing to live with the consequences of all of his decisions.

Starting with the day he had dared confessing his feelings to Seiya.

He maneuvered his body as he could to peck Seiya’s lips, pleased to feel his boyfriend responding to his kiss even in his sleep. Seiya hummed low and moved as if demanding the peck to turn into a kiss, and the kiss to last forever.

"There are four more people in the van, Massan," Taisei warned from behind the wheel, stealing glances from the rear-view mirror. "Keep it inside your pants!"

Masakado rolled his eyes and chuckled while sitting up, loving the whimper Seiya let out. Taisei wouldn’t be saying anything unless he was sure Seiya couldn’t retaliate. But he had helped Masakado carry out his plan — consciously or not —, and Masakado was nothing if not grateful.

He would spare Taisei this time around.

Besides, Sei-chan was soundly sleeping now. Masakado had the privilege of staring at all of his pretty sleeping faces. First row. VIP seat. With nobody else to share this with.

Seiya was all his.

Hope you enjoyed this ficlet!

I'm trying my best to get back to writing every day even though I should be putting that effort into 3 other WIPs that are left aside, but I couldn't let this idea die...
