Summary
Kaylee takes a break from studying magic to go out with some friends. When things go wrong, her mentor Dr. Davis needs to teach her a lesson about the dangers of her new knowledge.
“Real magic?” Dr. Davis raised an eyebrow. Kaylee wondered if he rehearsed that move in a mirror. “So, not inducing a four-sigma outcome. Making broomsticks fly through the air?”
“You know what I mean,” Kaylee said, and it came out more petulantly than she meant it to.
