The blue eyed kid elbows him in the stomach and shushed him before turning back to Ghost, “my cousin is in the SAS, he’s brought me onto base a couple of times.”
“That right,” Ghost asks, tracking his movements, “and what’s your name, kid?”
“John MacTavish.”
“And how old are you?”
“Almost seventeen.”
He’s young, Ghost shouldn’t be looking at him as if he’s hung the moon. But there’s something about him, something that flutters in his gut and makes him want to learn more about him.
