Shara is beginning to think that she should have left Chloe alone in that elevator.
And she lets her know that of course. Chloe laughs a mixture of joy and love she knows that shara could never be serious saying that her response had been ‘yeah right’ They're meant to be and it’s obvious.
Shara could be waking her up at five am to go look at the sunrise and chloe would still be there with heart eyes looking at her. Even when chloe leaves her clothes lying around their bedroom all shara can think about is how perfect she looks when she's apologising. Between them they hardly get anything done together.
Tonight shara lies facing the wall as a child she was always scared a monster would attack her if she slept this way but now she has chloe to protect her. Chloe who's currently lying behind her one arm draped over her shoulder which she holds onto and their legs tangled up together. They lie something like this every night in their bedroom with musicals adorning the walls and what anyone else would consider way too many books but shara and Chloe find that perfect. The room is a perfect mixture of them sharas lipgloss is lined up perfectly on the shelf with a pile of chloes essays spilling dangerously close to knocking the end one over.
A younger shara would never have believed this her sleeping in a room perfectly arranged between her and her girlfriend (that's the first thing she wouldn't have believed) who just so happens to be chloe green. Of course it's not just as simple as that it's about chloes dark hair and her unbothered beauty, it's about her short and strong frame and it's about her perfect lips that shara has kissed a thousand times and most of all it's about chloes smile when she sees her and the love she pours onto her. It's like a flood shara thinks to be loved by chloe is like having thousands of paper hearts dumped on you. You're drowning in beauty and shara can't help it. She fucking loves it.
Shara smiles and cuddles closer to chloes arm. Chloe groans and kisses the back of her neck and shara thinks this must be it. The perfect life.
