That's the illustration that started the artstyle of 3P, long due for an update. Originally, I only planned to have a cover art, without additional illustrations, as I was simply struck with a moment of inspiration. However, there was something about the style that I liked, and the idea of adding more visuals to the work appealed to me, especially when it came to presenting brand-new characters and stands.
Funfact: Ikuro's outfit on the original cover art isn't actually one of his canonical ones. I was bamboozled by a design list made by GreatGuerrilla for a fan animation which, as far as I know, never came to be. Kudos to the artist. For a new cover, I was inspired to keep the signature red straps, but otherwise use Ikuro's outfit from the manga and All-Star Battle games.
