Work Text:
"When I was in elementary school I had a crush on this boy in my class, so I wrote him a letter telling him to get out of my school."
"Let it all out Roger, it doesn't matter that we've just had sex and I teased you about how you are probably at least bi because I've never seen a man wear as much mascara." Mimi said
"When I was in third grade my parents pulled me out of school and I had to go to therapy because a boy wrote me a letter telling me to get out of his school."
"Good, Mark, go on," Joanne said, "let it all out."
"Remind me again why you can't just get a therapist?" Maureen groaned
"I'm dirt poor remember?"
"Oh yeah…"
"So Mark said that he had to go to therapy because this boy wrote him a letter to get out of his school, Mimi, any interesting topics from Roger we need to discuss?"
"Oh yeah, so Roger, right, we just had sex, and we were cuddling, and I told him that no straight man wears that much mascara, because they don't, and he suddenly felt years of emotional trauma after that I guess, and you know what he said?! He starts rambling about this time in elementary where he had a crush on this boy and didn't know what to do so he wrote him a letter to get out of his school, and just left without his clothes, then I found him sobbing in the closet in the loft with a tub of pickle juice, like what the hell?! Way to ruin the mood!"
"Urghhhhhhhhh, men are so dumb, that's why I stopped dating them! Let's get more drunk!" Maureen said, handing Mimi another shot
"Um, Mimi, Maureen?" Angel said
"Yeah?" Maureen and Mimi said, turning around to look at her in the noisy bar
"Mark had to go to therapy because this boy wrote a letter to him to get out of the school, Roger wrote a letter to a boy whom he had a crush on to get out of his school"
"…"
They all immediately rushed to the loft.
