PJ has grown up in the very conservative town of Belmount her whole life.
Which sucks for her, since she’s definitely a lesbian.
So she fakes dating a guy, has to stop rumors about her and her best friend Josie dating, cause they aren’t, and when she came out to her parents, they kept questioning her, but the next day said they would support her and still love her. But she couldn’t act out on those feelings while they were still living here. They promised her that when she goes to college in Boston, she’s free to be whoever she wants.
And then she met Hazel.
