Work Text:
illumina crushes the small piece of concrete with the heel of his foot. when he pulls away, he bends down to inspect the small silver grains with little interest. he goes back up and kicks the particles away from him and sighs. everyday was dull, but today was an exceptionally monotonous day.
"hey!"
the ground taps below him as he continues with his walk. the sky was a beautiful blue, but there was no minding that. another sigh escapes his lips and he soon finds himself standing still. why was he even here grumbling about?
"if you don't move—"
a force meet illumina's back, prompting him to turn around in great confusion. a steady eyebrow raised itself, his hollow eyes squinting ever so slightly. in front of him was a demon holding a rock in hand, his arm looking like it was about to throw before dropping it down to his sides to yell at the deity.
"can you get out of the way? im trying to skate here!"
illumina examines the skateboarder.
a pair of big red horns, a helmet, a regular tank top with a set of gray pants, as well as a couple of more body protection presumably for the activity he appears to be doing. in his free arm, he had a skateboard tucked in, a neon light surrounding the edges of it. upon closer look, one would be able to see the nicks that littered the board.
illumina looks at the demon's dirtied face and ignores their babbling. he turns around and continues his walk. the thrown rock smacks his shoulder, a hit that was alarmingly near his neck. illumina turns around once more, now with a slight frown on his face.
"i told you to go away, didn't i? do you wanna get hit by these rad tric—"
a lightning bolt shoots down from the heavens, striking the phighter with all its might. illumina walks away from the dark pile of dust that was once a small inconvenience to him. skateboard is no more. no more skateboarding. no more rocks will be thrown at illumina ever again.
