    Their kiss is so sudden that Izuku is sure, for a moment, that he’s back on that roof with Katsuki so many years ago. That the rest of it was a harrowing dream that lasted a lifetime and that Katsuki never left.

    When he blinks his eyes back open again, Katsuki is hissing in pain as his injuries twinge from their position, his hips jumping back as his muscles spasm indignantly.

    “Shit,” Katsuki grunts, forehead dropping to Izuku’s shoulder as he calms himself in more ways than one. “I shouldn’t have–”

    “Kiss me again,” Izuku pleads, to shut him up. Then he steals the kiss himself.

    Or, Katsuki left their village years ago, but comes back just in time to save them from raiders. ... Unfortunately, he gets injured in the process.
