Summary
Hermione doesn't understand why she's the one who gets assigned to inspect all of Malfoy Manor weekly for new traces of black magic. Of course she understands why that's a condition of his house arrest, but why her higher ups thought she was the correct choice for the job was beyond her. At least six months into it she's established a civil working relationship with the couple and things have changed enough in the decor department that she's mostly fine. Though it seems the inspection before the Malfoys are due for their heat and rut cycle might just shake up some of that routine.
