"Really?" Phoenix said, buttoning his collared shirt back up. "My bare chest just does nothing for you?"
Maya shrugged. "Sorry, Nick. You're just not the shirtless, animal-magnetism type."
"Alright…" He scanned his wardrobe. "Well, what if I put on this cardigan, and then promise to cook you a delicious, four-course meal?"
Maya's eyes widened. Her thighs pressed tight together. A single word escaped her lips.
"Waterfalls…"
"What?"
"Nothing!" Maya stood sharply, face bright red. "I said it makes you look like a dad! It's definitely not the hottest thing I've ever seen!"
And then she bolted out of the room.
